The Causal Body is a golden grid of pulsating energy, the level of the Ascended Masters. Acceptance and surrender to the inherent wisdom in all that happens. The small self wants it to happen in a certain way, wants life to fit in with the ego-centred idea of what is best; this becomes our suffering when life does not support that. E.g. a marriage breaking up, may be for the highest good of all concerned, yet it may be painful and impossible to see that it’s for the best when it is happening.
Here we can sense/see the bigger picture; that there is a certain divine orchestration to everything that happens. A healthy causal level would trust everything that happens and be open to the wisdom that is contained within it.
Total acceptance is not: ‘there is something wrong with this here now, I must change it and fix it, make it different’. Surrender is: I am open to understanding this I trust that this needs to happen right now.
This is where we rest in being, knowing our true nature and feeling our connectedness to existence. We feel ourselves to be an integral, perfect part of the divine symphony. We surrender to the mystery of it all. The question “why am I here?” disappears and we are left knowing in wonder.

The Celestial Body contains clouds of luminescent, translucent, shimmering pastel colours. This is where we contact our Guardian Angel. Through this medium the awesome love, inspiration and intelligence of the angels communicate with us. Angels are embodiments of divine qualities.
This is like the emotional body that is beyond duality: there is joy without cause, love without cause, hope and faith without cause, strength without cause etc. These are spontaneous arisings of our divine nature, they radiate from our core. Angelic beings can awaken these aspects within us.
Healers holding this level can feel a love which goes beyond the duality of me and you, it is like an awe-inspired gratitude for creation, like the feeling you get when you see a beautiful newborn baby. Angels exist in constant remembering of the divine so this is all they see and experience; they do not experience our forgetting. When we awaken this body of consciousness, we are inspired by life and feel a love of creation; we see the miracles that are happening around the world.
This is where we find our inspiration and unconditional love for ourselves and others. This consciousness is always available to uplift us, yet sometimes we are surrounded by denser frequencies in the other bodies, which cloud our perception so we don’t notice that the sun is still shining.

The Etheric Template precedes the etheric body and physical body, and is connected to both, it holds the highest potential for our physical expression as a human being. All the higher bodies hold the divine expressions and highest potential. There is not so much releasing and clearing to do here it is more a reconnection that needs to happen so the higher levels can inspire and guide the other levels to express the highest potential.
This is the first of the impersonal bodies, which is an expression of the impersonal, divine expression. This is the level where sacred laws of form exist. Plato spoke about these when he talked about the level of perfect ideas, where everything in manifestation exists first in the ethers as an idea, which we call energy form.
This is the level of sacred geometry, which Pythagoras was also teaching, the science of perfect ratios, in music, sound healing, in nature (petals), symmetry in the human body, architecture.
On this level there is a blueprint of the human form, which is different to a hoarse or dog etc., however, your body is not like anyone else’s it manifests through the astral, through your personal history, parents, genetics, past lives etc. Then your personal first level and physical body is part of your story, individuating out of the impersonal matrix of the divine expressing in human form.
This can be perceived a bit like a photographic negative. The substance of the body appears dark and blank, a kind of background, and the lines of energy appear electric blue, pulsating. This is the creative matrix which precedes physical form. There is also a sense of the teeming void out of which all manifestation comes, a simultaneous fullness and emptiness.

The Mental Body is our vehicle of expression for intellect, ideas and thoughts. It can have healthy or unhealthy activity and thoughts. The mental body can be undercharged or overcharged; we can describe someone as a bright student, which reflects the appearance of a healthy mental body and the third layer of their energy field would be pulsating bright yellow energy.
Thoughts can become holding patterns on this level. Healers can actually tune in and hear some of these thought forms in someone’s energy field.
A healthy mental body would have clarity and a clear thought process. If it was unhealthy it would be squashing the emotional level, this is very common with our education system. We become thinkers and not used to feeling. Or the emotional level could overwhelm the mental level, so we would have lots of emotional process with little clarity.
This is the level where we hold our thought forms. Thinking does not only happen in the brain, each cell in our body is conditioned by the thoughts we have. This web of mental energy affects our emotional and physical well-being.
Energy healing can help to clear some of our unhealthy thoughts so our energy can flow again.

The Astral Body is where we hold all our past experiences. This includes past lives, which can appear in our energy field like an undigested residue of experience; an unlearnt lesson. This level is all about relationships because all experience happens in relationship: to a person, to an object, to a place, to a situation etc.
The emotional body is how you feel towards yourself, your astral body is how you feel in a relationship.
Here we perceive images: objects, people, places etc. These are symbolic representations of someone’s past experience and how it effects the present. Mental Body you have simple thought form, Emotional body you have simple emotion, astral body a fuller picture of these and where they originate and the effects they produce in relationships and behaviour.
Our experience of the past is held in our energy field. It is a creative web of beliefs and expectations, these can be positive – so if you experienced that you were supported by your environment, loved and accepted for whatever you did, you would have confidence and step into life expecting the best, and creating that through your belief and expectation. However if you had repeated negative experiences, those will tend to be fixated and re-create the present. There are areas of our lives which flow, which feel graceful, effortless, we are fulfilled and satisfied easily. There are other aspects which don’t flow, we are not fulfilled, and we may feel blocked, stuck. Here there will be past material blocking the flow of life. The block will take the form of an image (a whole conglomerate of experience which is contained in an image , a mixture of memory, beliefs, thoughts and emotions).
On this level in energy healing we work with releasing the old images so that we can live fully in the present, free from old baggage.
Healing techniques that are often used are inner child, relationship cord and past life healing.
Astral Mucus builds up when we have had an emotional exchange with another person and we wrap up any emotions we don’t want to feel in an energetic packet that is enveloped with astral mucus and lodged somewhere in our energy field. In this way it does not have an immediate, devastating, dramatic effect, but does slowly poison us with seeping emotional toxins and clogs up and congests our ability to raise our vibration and conduct mature relationships in the present time. We carry a huge burden of this mucus from all of the previous unprocessed relationship issues we have ever had, including those from previous lifetimes. This then blocks our ability to access these parts of ourselves, and tends to build up more and more around a particular issue as we continue to interact with others through the transferential distortion of past unresolved relationships.
The mucus builds in everyone concerned, but may be of a different quality depending on the defensive reaction of the individual. This can be anything from the effects of a child being punished, to an argument, a betrayal, violence, abuse, jealousy, hatred etc. The mucus is different colours according to the emotion that is being carried in it. The colours are similar to those found on the emotional level. See my post on emotion and colour healing.
When mucus is cleared people can experience enormous relief both the physically and psychologically.

The Emotional Body is about the feelings you have towards yourself. This level is a fluid level on which clouds of energy and colours can be perceived. The connection with emotion and colour is reflected in our language: feeling blue, green with envy, pink associated with love, yellow with cowardice/fear, red with passion or aggression.
The clouds of energy can appear stagnant and dull/dark or moving and bright and alive. This reflects the emotional state : old, unconscious, repressed feelings or fully experienced, alive emotions that are felt and allowed to move.
Clearing the clouds in a healing helps people to feel brighter. This gives effective relief and eases the emotional burden that may have been present. However to fully release chronic emotional conditions, the client may need to engage with the process and experience it consciously to understand the patterning that creates that emotional state. We are helping the unconscious to become conscious.
Clouds of emotional energy shows there is emotional suppression, and possibly stagnation in the energy field, which will ultimately impact on the etheric body and lead to physical symptoms.

I would like to explain in greater detail the seven levels / subtle bodies of the Aura dimension of the energy field. This will be a series of posts. My previous post on the Human Energy Field (HEF) gave brief information on the various dimensions of the HEF.
We are not just our physical body. We have an emotional body, a mental body, and an astral body, which contains all our past experience, even past lives. We have subtle bodies of higher frequencies which correspond to pure divine expressions of universal will, love and wisdom. We are a complex combination of the personal and totally impersonal/divine. We have a personal history, the story of me and a true nature that is beyond our history, was never born and will never die. The infinite self and the small self.
People have their comfort zones, where they invest more energy, e.g. emotional people, are more fluid, touchy, go out of boundaries; mental people can be more intellectual – felt as dry in comparison , rigid, contained. Through energy healing you can begin to access the other levels, e.g. someone very mental can begin to feel more, someone very emotional can experience more containment.
The Etheric Body (this is sometimes known as the physical level) is what we call a structured level. This body holds the blueprint /creative matrix of the physical body. ‘Vibrational Medicine’ by Richard Gerber, described experiments by a Korean acupuncturist Dr. Kim who did experiments on rabbit and chick embryos which showed fine lines of structure forming within hours of fertilisation, i.e. before the organs had formed. These lines were not related to the blood network, i.e. they were not veins, and they were an energetic holding pattern. Also, he detected an energy axis that precedes the spine in the unfertilised egg of salamanders which showed that an energetic potential has to exist for physical manifestation to take place.
Every organ, bone, limb, tissue, etc. Has an energetic structure around it, holding and permeating it.
The phantom limb effect is another example of the etheric body. Even when the limb has been removed, sensation can be felt as if the toes were still there, like itching.
The etheric body functions as an energetic map, carrying information that guides the cellular growth. In embryo development, the DNA gives the genetic coding which supplies the cells the information they need for the job they have to do. The grid intelligence of the etheric body tells them where to go. When the physical body has developed, and there is injury or illness we work with this level and level 5 to help repair the body.
We are light conductors. The energetic grid is a network for energetic communication from Source (sometimes referred to as God, Universe, Divine). Reasons for interplay between structure and fluid levels, works in the same way that water conducts electricity and holds memory, the HEF is a conductor, but what is held in the memory can block the transmission from source, thus inhibit the truest expression and greatest potential of our divine being. We get stuck in self-repeating, self-creating patterns, the story of me.
Grid work healing is for restructuring and charging the HEF when the field is damaged or depleted, and is not a good conductor of life force.
The etheric/ physical body contain the meridian lines and acupuncture points which create a structured web of energy that helps to maintain the health of our physical body. This level can be weakened by various factors including: electromagnetic pollution, poor diet, sedentary lifestyle, genetic factors and karmic patterning in the astral body

The relationships in your life are a reflection of your own consciousness.
The people in your life are perfect for you.
First of all the disdain you have for other people is simply a disdain you have for parts of your own self, projected outwards. You only notice things in other people that you have in yourself, that is why you notice them. When you criticise another human being, you are revealing your own shortcomings, when you admire and respect another human being, you are revealing those qualities which you admire and respect in yourself. Because all you know about is you, that is all you can see out there. The people you hate the most are the ones who exhibit the very qualities which you like to express as eloquently as they do – your whole universe is a constant education, showing you who you are.
Other people are both necessary and a gift for you - they are your Zen Masters.
If someone irritates you, you really owe them a thank you – for irritating you, they are being your Zen Master and revealing a place inside of yourself which needs to be cleaned up. No one can irritate you if you are not irritable. As long as you are irritable, you invite with your irritable consciousness, people to irritate you. You have to draw everything and everybody in your world to you with your consciousness. The people in your life are like sandpaper, smoothing out all your rough edges. When you have no rough edges left, either the sandpaper of other peoples negativity will disappear from your life, or if it appears it will not be able to touch you – psychological lingo – you won’t get “plugged in”. You will not join in the game – you will not feel the need to defend yourself. It will bounce off you like fleas (water off a ducks back). At that point, you are truly a warrior, marching down the path, trampling the weeds in your way; and nothing can stop you.

1. The Law or Attraction – You are a magnet: you attract like you
2. The Law of Resistance - What you resist persists in your life and drains you of energy. Embrace what you do want and feel alive.
3. The Law of Reflection – Never try to change someone else, they are reflecting you. So look within and change yourself
4. The Law of Projection – You do not know how anyone feels or is. Everything you see in another is a projection of an aspect of yourself
5. The Law of Attachment – If you wish to be free, detach yourself from everyone and everything. It is a prerequisite for enlightenment.

The purpose of an Inner Child Healing.
Children are very emotional beings as the ability to understand has not yet developed. Many times in childhood when we expressed these emotions we were punished, or at least disapproved of and rejected. So after time the emotions become suppressed in an attempt to avoid punishment and rejection. However the energy of the emotion does not then get discharged and therefore begins to accumulate in our energy fields and in our bodies. This causes blockages to the healthy flow of emotional energy which then creates tension and pain. In our attempts to not feel this emotional pain we try to deny it by blaming others for how we feel, projecting our feelings onto others.
However the energy has to go somewhere and as it becomes denser it can somatise into the physical body and create pain and disease. Pain is a way that our self healing intelligence will try to bring our attention to these unresolved left-overs from the past.
So in a Inner Child healing we facilitate the client to heal unresolved emotional pain from childhood. This can relieve the congestion within the energetic and physical bodies to the extent that diseases can be healed.
There are three steps to the process;
Awareness
Giving the Inner child attention in a loving and allowing way. This meets a deep need and allows what is in shadow to feel safe enough to emerge.
Release
Giving a safe space for the child to express their feelings, and so run off the emotional charge that has been held since that time.
Integration
Holding and loving the child, especially after venting these feelings which are normally rejected, deeply dissolves and heals the patterns of fear, shame, and rejection out of which we create our ego defences.
