Abundance

The secrets of abundance are in our subconscious minds, they are there for us to discover and create abundance in our lives. We are our thoughts, if we constantly have feelings of lack and poverty this is what we will create in our lives.Abundance can mean many different things to people. To a high percentage of people today abundance means acquiring wealth, the kind of wealth that gives them choices to live a materially rewarding life or to hand down the dream of security to their children.
Some will believe it to just mean having their needs met and having no fear of starving, to others it will be about dedicating their lives to the single minded pursuit of excellence in their field. Whatever abundance means to us is our personal choice. Issues with money and success are deeply rooted in people’s upbringing. We are taught the following sayings “money is the root of all evil”, “money can’t buy happiness”, “if you work hard, you can have success” and “money doesn’t grow on trees”. We then reinforce these sayings in our own lives, because they are rooted in our subconscious.

Abundance though, is more than just having large quantities of money or things, it means having things that fulfil us as well. Money can be part of this abundance; however, there is emotional and spiritual abundance as well as the physical.
Manifesting using the “Law of Attraction” will help us to learn to consciously choose what we want to create and draw it to us; situations and objects will start to come into our lives as we need them. Following the spiritual laws and following our life’s purpose and honouring ourselves and others will encourage money and abundance to flow in greater amounts; it will be easier to hold and give more joy.

To have abundance we need what could be called “abundance mentality”. We need to change our thought patterns towards money, wealth and prosperity. People with an abundance mentality believe there are enough resources available to accomplish our goals. We also believe that our success doesn’t mean failure for others. On the contrary, the more successful we are, the more others are affected in a positive way. We can be happy when friends and associates prosper. We can enter every business transaction with a “win/win” attitude. We win when our clients win.

Money can be a tremendous force. The way our money is earned, accumulated, and spent determines whether our money will be a force that creates good or doesn’t create good for us and others.

To create many flows of money in our lives, we need to learn how to give and receive freely. We all feel good when we give gifts to others, providing the gift is not rejected. Many of us find it hard to allow ourselves to fully receive from others. However, we empower others by letting them give to us, for then they have the opportunity to demonstrate their abundance. People feel good about themselves when they give us something that we can use and appreciate. If no one could receive, no one would be able to give, which would block the flow of energy necessary to create abundance.

There are many books on this subject, my favourites are: Creating Money: Attracting Abundance by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer and The Law of Attraction by Esther Hicks and Jerry Hicks

Energy healing helps to remove our negative thoughts rooted in our subconscious, so we can create better more abundant lives for ourselves.

Psychic Surgery Healing

The purpose of a Psychic Surgery healing is to clear, clean, realign and strengthen the etheric template level of the human energy field. This will have a direct effect on the etheric body level and the physical body, enhancing order, truth and surrender to divine will.

The healer in a meditive state will invite their guides to work with them during the healing. The healer’s hands may be guided to parts of the body where there is need or pain.

Psychic Surgery can help many ailments; an example was with a client with an arthritic knee reporting a feeling of her knee being opened and surgery being done, after I had finished the healing she felt as though she had a bandage round her knee. After a few sessions the pain gradually got better and she was more comfortable walking.

Your Observer Self

To make anything conscious, we must separate the knower from the known. For only when we have perspective on our conditions, can we see and understand them. The Observer self is the knower, the activator of consciousness. This self is the agent of our higher power’s mind and its function is to notice and remind. But this is not an intellectual function; it is a felt awareness – an inner knowing. The observer self reminds us of anything that is standing in the way of our truth.

Be aware of your feelings, but do not follow the mind by acting it out, this creates habitual habits / patterns. You can’t fix any emotion you can only understand it.
Joy and qualities of essence, strength, wisdom, peace come from being connected to the universal energy. Negative responses are reactions to how distorted the being is i.e. anger etc.

The opposite of being is reacting. Reacting is craving and going for what you think gives you pleasure and avoiding what gives you pain. At birth we come out of being to reacting as there is separation, hunger, cold etc. We then create a good self and a bad self according to the environment which makes our personality. We move to things which will help our good self. You are never good enough so you keep craving more pleasure; things that make us feel good. This is based on the pain of the bad.

When you meditate it is normal for your mind to wander, we tend to find an emptiness which we will find boring, and this is because there is no activity. Welcome the letting go of your conditional self, welcome the unfamiliar as the old identities fall away, experience the fear and terror of the not known so the real you can come through. If you don’t go through the not knowing we just re-create the old patterns. Meditation is a stillness that needs to be learnt.

Suffering is the non acceptance of life because we have a need to control. There is a soul intention that we may not be conscious of. Life will bring us back to this all the time, even when we try to make changes. When you’re on the right path life flows.

Inner Grounding; is the observer self capacity to maintain a connection with your true self. Big changes may be happening, just see them as happening don’t go into the despair, sadness and  fear, just accept that is what is happening. Gain the ability to have the experience but know you are not the experience you are the experiencer.

I read somewhere a while ago, where people think of their observer self as sitting on their shoulder, gently poking them into consciousness anytime they begin to daydream and become unconscious. It will occasionally whisper in their ear, “Just notice what you are saying now. You are repeating yourself over and over.” Or, “You just walked to the phone booth again to call that man for the sixth time.” This self brings us into the present moment, making us fully conscious of what we are doing. Then, we have a choice as to whether or not to continue our current activity. We may choose to anyway, but at least we’ll be doing it consciously. Often, to help us let go of a pattern, observer walks us through our dysfunctional behaviour while we’re wide-awake, and acutely aware of what it is we are really doing. This can be very uncomfortable but is often necessary to our healing.

Acting alone, our ego can misdirect us toward addictive or dysfunctional ways of thinking, feeling, or behaving. We experience this when we are caught in an emotional reaction, motivated by unmet needs. These times of emotional imbalance cause us to run amuck, strengthening our delusions about power and control. People who abuse others emotionally are generally out of touch with their Observer Self.

When you begin to work with the observers self  it can help you see your wounded self, your habitual patterns and your inner self more clearly, without the ego and it’s desire to maintain the status quo. The observer self is an invaluable ally in personal growth that can lead us to higher levels of consciousness.

If you wish to make a start in personal growth so you feel secure and happy in this world we live. Energy healing  would be the beginning of this journey, to help you create joy and vitality in your life.

Sound Healing

The purpose of using sound as a mode of healing is to clear stuck emotional energy on levels two and four of the Human Energy Field. This will have a direct effect on how you feel and can remove the accumulation of stagnant emotions that have been generated from negative thinking, dwelling in the past/future or that have been left unprocessed or unexpressed from a previous trauma.

Sound also brings the structured levels into alignment. This will have the direct effect on the integrity and strength of these levels and their associated aspects.
This can take place on the therapy table with the therapist toning/chanting or can be done by chanting / toning in a group or by yourself.
To find out how sound can affect our bodies, experiment with plants. A plant in a room where heavy metal music is played constantly will show less growth than a plant in a room with Mozart playing. Sound can pattern consciousness on all levels. There is a sacred geometry in sound.

Past Life Healing

The purpose of a past life healing is to identify and clear unresolved, residual experiences from past lives so we are not transferring this image onto the present, and recreating the same limiting life patterns. Our subconscious minds already contain the memories of every life that we have lived on this planet. Your soul may have incarnated many times, in a past life healing an experience may be brought up from your subconscious and a solution to heal a situation regardless of whether you totally believe in this therapy.

Current life situations that are out of proportion to what is going on in present life is an indication where a past life healing would be helpful, to take them back to the dimension to find out what went on. Karmic residue can be removed so the soul does not create the same circumstances over and over again.
All our experiences we have had or are having are recorded in our energy field. Within them we will have beauty, love, violence, shame, murder, abundance and lack. When we go back and remember any of these, we can become our true selves.

Past live healing is to help us heal the troubles of the past. This is easier to do now than then. This is because we are detached from the pain and suffering of the situation, so we can come to a deeper wisdom and understanding. When we do this work, we are more conscious now, so we can heal, and help all people involved.

We can all inherit physical characteristics from our ancestors so why can’t we inherit behaviours, urges and instincts which could also include inherited memory. Whatever your beliefs, Past Life Healing can lead to amazing insights and help you to resolve past blocks to your current and future success. Quite often emotional issues, physical illness and phobias originate in past lives, from some unresolved but forgotten trauma. Past Life Healing is a process by which you access past life experiences, heal them and then let them go so that they no longer affect the life you are living now. As a result you begin to have a real choice in the way you experience your life.

We are on this earth to become whole and life will present us situations for us to learn and heal from. If we do not learn from these situations we will come back and recreate the same problems until we do.

Meditation – Getting Started

Candles, Orchid and Some White PebblesAny body can learn to meditate. All it takes is patience and perseverance. You don’t have to be religious or into any new age philosophy. When you decide to give it a go, you need to create the right conditions.

Your Meditation Space
It would be ideal to set aside a room which is kept for meditation only, so the spiritual energy you generate can build up and cleanse the room. However, this is the ideal and if you are unable to have the luxury of a separate meditation room choose a space perhaps in the corner of your bedroom, where you can sit and meditate without being disturbed. The area ideally will be simply furnished; all you need is an upright chair (not an armchair or comfy chair) and a table. Keep the space/room neat and tidy; open the window frequently to let fresh air circulate to cleanse it. Decorate with uplifting pictures, perhaps some crystals, candles, fresh flowers and some relaxing music in the background. This is your special place, your sanctuary.
Try to make time to meditate for 15 minutes morning or evening to start, increasing to 30 minutes or more when you become more experienced. The quality of the meditation is far more important than the quantity. Early morning is generally considered the best time for meditation, before you become absorbed in the business of the day. Choose a time which suits you and stick to it. Regular practise helps to condition and train the brain/mind. The more you meditate the easier it becomes.

Posture
The traditional posture is the lotus position, particularly in the East. However if we have not grown up doing yoga this can be uncomfortable and put you off meditation. Therefore, we can meditate just as well on a chair providing it is firm and upright. Your spine needs to be erect, your body should be relaxed and your feet firmly on the floor, hands resting lightly on your knees. The main rule for meditation is to be comfortable, this includes clothing. The purpose is to forget about the body so the mind can be free. The room should be dim and restful, not too dark that you doze off. The temperature should be warm but not stuffy and hot. Adhering to these guidelines will help you to adopt the correct mental attitude – and you will be less likely to fall asleep.
When you first start, it can be hard to ignore the noise around you. You are in a very sensitive state when you meditate, so loud noises and interruptions can jar the nerves. So ask family and friends not to disturb you, take the phone of the hook and shut the door. In order to meditate effectively you need to be relaxed. Most people carry far more tension than they realise, both in the body and in the mind. Until you are able to release this tension, it is harder to enter a condition of stillness. There are many relaxation meditations available on the internet, or you can just focus on your breathing.

You are now ready to begin a journey of self discovery.

If you would like to find out more about the benefits to the body meditation has read my previous post on Meditation here.

If you still find it hard to meditate, and would like to release your everyday tension, please contact me, I can work with you using Energy Healing to help you relax so your mind, body and spirit can work together, the result will be a balance of thought, awareness and well-being. It is in this state that healing of other illness can occur on multiple levels. Meditation can also help balance our seven chakras.

About Meditation and the Benefits

meditatingMeditation is good for personal development and feeling of calm and peace. Regular meditation has been known to greatly reduce depression.  If you haven’t done meditation before you need to build up slowly, and find a way of meditating which suits you personally. Feelings of emotional discomfort can accompany meditation; it may bring blocked issues to the forefront of your mind, which you may find a need to heal. The conscious mind is the tip of the iceberg, the unconscious mind lies beneath this, and beneath that lies the level of consciousness of which we are all joined, the universal consciousness.

There are different levels of the mind, caused by the different brainwaves explained below.

Beta (13- 40 cycles per second)
Beta is associated with our waking activity. During a day we experience all the brainwave patterns with a predominance of Beta.

Alpha (8-13 cycles per second)
The first pattern discovered in 1908 by an Austrian Psychiatrist named Hans Berger. Alpha pattern appears when in wakefulness where there is a relaxed and effortless alertness. Light meditation and day dreaming. It is recommended practicing your creative visualization and auto-suggestion technique in alpha state.

Theta (4-7 cycles per second)
Associated with creativity, dreams and Extra-sensory perception for the student the theta state is something to learn to go at will.

To obtain these different levels you have to quiet the mind by concentrating on a mantra or your breathing. The times you feel most resistant to meditating is the time your body will need it the most. Meditation puts you in contact with the things that are buried in the unconscious mind. The reason we bring our subconscious painful memories to the surface is because they are affecting our lives today. Just because we do not remember them does not mean they are not influencing our lives. Many of the beliefs upon which we run our lives rest on decisions we made as a child. Meditation can help you work through and overcome fears that stop us being our true selves. Meditation also helps you find that place within where you feel calm and peaceful at all times, even when life is tough. You will feel happier, be able to make changes when you want to, accept and be in the present and plan for you future.

Research – Benefits to the body

Improved Health
A study of health insurance statistics of 2000 people practising meditation consistently over a five year period revealed that their rate of hospitalisation was less than half of the other groups with comparable age, gender, profession, and insurance terms. Meditators also had fewer incidents of illness in 17 medical treatment categories. Some of the results were quite outstanding; 87% less admissions for cardiovascular disease, 55% less cancer, 87% less for diseases of the nervous system, 73% less for nose throat and lung problems. Psychosomatic Medicine 1987.

Lower Blood Pressure
At the Harvard Medical School Dr. Herbert Benson found that meditators develop what he calls the “relaxation response” to difficult or dangerous situations. This is a much healthier response than the very common “fight or flight” reaction. He also observed that during meditation the heart rate decreases on average by three beats a minute, and that the rate of breathing also decreases. The blood pressure of those who have hypertension is reduced during meditation. Dr.Benson found that all the traditional methods of meditation evoke this response. He also found that four basic elements are needed. They are in a quiet environment, an object for the attention to dwell on, a comfortable posture and, above all a non-discriminatory attitude towards meditation. This is exactly what the Buddha taught two thousand five hundred years ago.

Reduced Anxiety
A study conducted at Stanford University reported a reduced level of anxiety among the participants who meditated. Journal of Clinical Psychology (1989)

Decreased Stress
A study of meditators showed a reduction in plasma cortisol, a stress hormone, during and after meditation. Hormones and Behaviour (1978)

Deep Rest
A scientific measure of deep rest is the amount of basal skin resistance and lower respiration rates. Experiments comparing meditation to resting with eyes closed have shown that meditation is significantly more effective. Similarly meditation also reduces the amount of lactate (a root cause of anxiety, panic attacks and high blood pressure). American Psychologist (1987)

Reversal of the Aging Process
A study group of long-term meditators (practising meditation for five years or more) were physiologically twelve years younger than their chronological age, as measured by reduction of blood pressure, and better near-point vision and auditory discrimination. Short-term meditators were physiologically five years younger than their chronological age. The study controlled for the effects of diet and exercise. International Journal of Neuroscience 1982.

Increased Perception and Memory
College students instructed in meditation displayed significant improvements in performance over a two-week period on a perceptual and short-term memory test involving the identification of familiar letter sequences presented rapidly. They were compared with subjects randomly assigned to a routine of twice-daily rest with eyes closed, and with subjects who made o change in their daily routine. Memory and Cognition (1982)

In a basic Energy Healing session you will be encouraged to relax and go to the Alpha level, where  the mind, body and spirit work together, the result is a balance of thought, awareness and well-being that is unmatched. It is in this state that healing can occur on multiple levels. This includes our seven chakras.

Toxicity and its Symptoms

Symptoms of disease are often reactions to a build up of toxins in the body. They are a warning that a deeper process needs to be checked. We repress these symptoms, when we take painkillers for arthritis, cortisone cream for eczema etc. The toxins are then sent back into the body.
A toxin is a substance, which when we breathe it, drink it, eat it, inject it or absorb it through our skin, or when it is generated within our body, may disturb physiology or damage structures within the body.
Symptoms of Toxicity
Depending on the level of toxicity, symptoms may be superficial or deep, and show the body’s attempts to eliminate toxins. These can include headaches, joint pain, fatigue, irritability, depression, mental confusion, digestive disturbances, cardiovascular irregularities, flu like symptoms, or allergic reactions such as hives, runny nose, sneezing and coughing. Long standing toxicity leads to more serious illnesses such as autoimmune diseases, arthritis, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, heart disease and cancer. Toxins may create free radicals in our bodies, causing cellular damage and inflammation. These then combine and destroy enzymes, stagnate in tissues and interfere with circulation, possibly causing high blood pressure, thickening the blood resulting in decreased oxygenation and distribution of nutrients. Toxins can also block the transformation of nerve impulses, causing psychological disturbances and can interact with hormones to create glandular imbalances.

Phases of Toxicity

Excretion Phase

This is the superficial phase; signs may include skin rashes or blemishes, runny nose, sneezing, coughing, fever, perspiration, pus formation, increased urination, diarrhoea and vomiting. The body is using the best route to eliminate the toxins to the outside. To avoid the build up of toxins in our bodies, we should aim to have three bowel movements daily, drink enough fresh water so we can excrete through our kidneys, if possible let a fever run its course, practice deep breathing, exercise and sweat daily, avoid suppressing menstruation, also colds help us to eliminate respiratory toxins.

Reaction Phase

When the bodies attempts to excrete toxins are suppressed (as in lowering a fever and halting perspiration) or incomplete, inflammation maybe created to try and remove residual toxins. Symptoms include eczema, shingles, abscesses, ear infections, arthritis, colitis, IBS, appendicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease and cystitis.

Deposition Phase

If the toxins continue to increase, they will possibly be deposited in the interstitial fluid. In this phase there maybe the formation of warts, polyps, neuromas, gallstones and kidney stones, cellulite, varicose veins, swollen glands, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, breast cysts, edema, atherosclerosis and weight gain. These are efforts of the body to isolate and contain the toxins so they don’t penetrate to the inside of the cell. High cholesterol and hypertension may result. Constipation, overeating, lack of exercise, inefficient perspiration, poor lymphatic circulation and insufficient water will allow toxins to be deposited into the interstitial fluid.

Impregnation Phase

If toxins are not removed from the interstitial fluid, they will penetrate to the inside of the cells, possibly causing free radical damage, the blocking of enzymes and a change in the function of the cell, which my progress to chronic disease. Once this stage is reached and the cellular regulation is affected, the following illnesses may appear, diabetes, asthma, hepatitis, angina, thyroid dysregulation, hormonal imbalances, cervical dysplasia, and other precancerous conditions.

Degeneration Phase

In this phase the cells are increasingly and sometimes irreversibly damaged, with the changes in cell structure. Diseases include liver cirrhosis, osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diease, lupus, MS, tuberculosis, hyperthyroidism, scleroderma, heart attack, arthritis, nephritis of the kidney, infertility and dementia.

Cancer Phase

In this phase the toxins have affected the DNA causing genetic damage and the formation of malignant cells. All cancers fall under this phase.
