Spiritual Laws – The Law of Miracles

There are thirty-six or more spiritual laws that offer excellent ways for us to understand life on earth, some of the following text has been taken from Diana Cooper’s fantastic book “A Little Light on the Spiritual Laws”. I have already briefly explained some of the laws back in 2009, over the coming weeks I will explain some of the laws of higher frequency. If you find this interesting I would encourage you to read Diana’s book. I use Diana’s book when I am low or want an answer to a problem I flick through the book and open it at a law, and more often than not that is where I need to focus at that time.

The Law of Miracles

When something happens which cannot be explained by our physical laws, we possibly turn to the spiritual laws.

As worldwide consciousness rises more and more people are accessing the divine, higher energies. Therefore, more people are experiencing miracles.

Genuine forgiveness and unconditional love are divine energies that enable miracles to happen.

Bitterness, hurt, and anger are heavy, repellent energies. We need to release these to reach higher energies. Writing down your anger and bitterness and then burning the paper can help you release these lower energies. Miracles are a natural result of us connecting to the higher energies.

When we ask angels or ascended masters or any being from the spiritual hierarchy of light we draw in the divine higher frequency which transcends physical laws.

Synchronicities and coincidences are a form of miracle. Spiritual forces are working behind the scenes to coordinate the vast and marvellous Universe to help predestined meetings take place. These synchronicities and coincidences are directed by God/Universe and arranged by your guides and angels, so you have the opportunity to fulfil your destiny.

Quote from Diana Cooper’s book.

“As your vibrations rise you attract more spiritual help, so miracles, synchronicities and coincidences are signals from the Universe you are on your true pathway”

Understanding the spiritual laws helps us create a happy and joyous life, energy healing can also help us to follow these laws to create wealth, health and prosperity in our lives, by helping to remove anger, negative beliefs etc.

Spiritual Law – Law of Healing

There are thirty-six or more spiritual laws that offer excellent ways for us to understand life on earth, some of the following text has been taken from Diana Cooper’s fantastic book “A Little Light on the Spiritual Laws”. I have already briefly explained some of the laws back in 2009, over the coming weeks, I will explain some of the laws of higher frequency. If you find this interesting, I would encourage you to read Diana’s book. I use Diana’s book when I am low or want an answer to a problem, I flick through the book and open it at a law, and more often than not, that is where I need to focus at that time.

The Law of Healing

There are only two basic emotions on earth, fear and love. When we resist our chosen experiences through fear, we create blocks in our mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. This eventually causes physical disease.

Inflexible, crystallised beliefs and mental attitudes cause tension. If you hold an organ in tension long enough, something physical manifests. Denied or suppressed emotions sit within the body until they show as physical illness.

Refusing to acknowledge your spiritual self and your own magnificence, you cut off the supply of divine energy and your physical body suffers. Ill health is caused by stuck energy. When you are happy and flowing with love, the cells in your body respond by being healthy.

If you see your energy like a flowing river, which keeps flowing unless it becomes silted up. Love is a high-frequency energy that keeps the energy in your body clear and flowing. Energy blocks like unexpressed grief, hurt, anger, or jealousy are all low vibration and to your body is like silt blocking the flow of energy. If you open the sluice gates and send a rush of water down the river, it clears and washes it into the ocean. This is what a flow of healing energy does to our body.

You must always ask permission to give anyone healing. It is not up to you to decide what is for the other person highest good. For more information on why you cannot just give healing to someone without their permission, I suggest reading the book or contacting me directly.

Quote from Diana Cooper’s book.

“Healing takes place when high-frequency energy flows through the body, transmuting the stuck energy which caused the disease.”

Understanding the spiritual laws helps us create a happy and joyous life. Energy healing can also help us follow these laws to create wealth, health and prosperity in our lives by helping to remove anger, negative beliefs etc.

Spiritual Law – Law of Gratitude

Spiritual Laws

There are thirty-six or more spiritual laws that offer excellent ways for us to understand life on earth, some of the following text has been taken from Diana Cooper’s fantastic book “A Little Light on the Spiritual Laws”. I have already briefly explained some of the laws, over the coming weeks I will explain some of the laws of higher frequency. If you find this interesting I would encourage you to read Diana’s book. I use Diana’s book when I am low or want an answer to a problem I flick through the book and open it at a law, and more often than not that is where I need to focus at that time.

The Law of Gratitude

Gratitude is giving thanks from your heart. When you give heartfelt thanks the energy flows from your heart and activates certain responses from other people as well as the universe. If you pay lip service to gratitude because you feel you have to be thankful, your words and thoughts do not create the same response.

When you are totally grateful to someone for things they have done, they feel the loving energy of your thanks and feel overjoyed and loved, so are more likely to give you more. When you give heartfelt thanks to the universe for what you have received, the universal energy lovingly responds by giving you more.

Heartfelt gratitude is a key to abundance. It unlocks the great resources of the universe.

Judgement and criticism are the opposite of gratitude and appreciation they put you in a very low place. If somebody has done lots of nasty things to you, you will feel angry and criticise them and your body will feel tense and you may have headaches etc.

It is considered an old fashioned concept to be grateful to your parents for giving you life. Many people think it is their parent’s fault they were born. The truth is your spirit chose them as parents and they obliged by giving you entry to the universe and provided the circumstances and conditions, however challenging, that your soul needed for this experience on earth.

When you appreciate even small things in a person or situation, it grows as soon as you are appreciating something you are focusing on it, so by the Law of Attention, it increases and multiplies.

To help you feel positive and to forgive, you need to remind yourself with compassion that people who behave in this way to you are hurting. Happy people do not do nasty things. Try and look for one good thing or nice thing people have done for you and focus on appreciating or being grateful for it. Their attitude may or may not change but you will start to feel good again.

When we realise we are sent challenges because they help us grow, we alter our attitude to them. Within every challenging situation is the gift of a lesson. Our task is to learn the lesson and appreciate what it has taught us.

If you want to help improve your happiness, health, and abundance, keeping a gratitude diary is a great start. Every day write down 5-10 things you are thankful for. Before you go to bed think back through the day and find things to be grateful for. Begin 2022 by keeping a gratitude diary and seeing the changes in your life.

Spiritual Laws – Frequency or Vibration

Fear is a low-frequency heavy vibration, whereas love calmness and peace are high-frequency light vibrations. We have all been in a situation where humour has lifted the energy. Love heals the heavy emotion of grief. Light vibration will transmute the heavy ones.

Critical and cynical people send out arrows of low-frequency energy, we struggle to be around this energy,  we make jokes to lighten the energy or move away and talk to someone else. Anger and rage are low energies and below that energy is always fear and a feeling of powerlessness. While we are calm and centred we remain in high vibration and able to be in our power and calmly speak our truth, so we can release the feelings of anger and rage.

We all know animals can pick up the frequencies we can’t. A dog will always bark/growl at someone who is scared of dogs. Horses will also respond to your energy. Children do the same they can sense when teachers or parents are stressed, and behave accordingly.

Doing things because you feel you should, will also carry a low vibration. Guilt and obligation are not good reasons to do things. When you do things you enjoy or want to do you radiate high-frequency energy. Therefore the sooner you do things that give you joy and enthusiasm, the quicker you will raise your energy and those around you to high frequency.

Use affirmations to help programme your subconscious. Use your imagination to visualise confidence, joy and beautiful colours around you.  Once you realise who you are and accept it you will start to raise yourself to a high-frequency person.

Illness and disease have a heavy vibration that blocks the flow of your life force. Healing is when high-frequency energy is sent or channelled to the ill person. Energy healing can help shift you from low vibration to high vibration contact Rosemary if you would like to discuss how energy healing could help you.

Success has a vibration, mix with successful people and your vibration should start to match theirs.

Understanding spiritual laws can help us create a happy and joyous life.

This information is based on Diana Cooper’s book “A Little Light on the Spiritual Laws”.

What are your emotional wounds? How can you heal them?

Most of our emotional wounds are formed during our childhood. We learn to mask the wounds to receive attention and fit in with our family and friends.

Here is a list of some of the things which may have caused emotional wounds for you: –

  1. Being shouted at, hit, or exposed to violence, you now feel afraid of others anger.
  2. Being harshly judged frequently, you now feel inadequate.
  3. Being ridiculed in public, feeling embarrassed, you now feel ashamed of yourself.
  4. Being smothered or abused, you now feel inferior.
  5. Being overly controlled, you now allow people to control you.
  6. Being used for your parent’s needs.
  7. Trusting a caregiver and being betrayed, now you find it hard to trust.
  8. Being made to feel guilty, now you struggle to forgive yourself
  9. Being rejected when you reached out for connection, now you feel people will not like you.
  10. Being inadequately nurtured and cared for, now feel needy and empty.
  11. Being taken care of, and then abandoned, now feeling scared of being left again.
  12. Not being seen and appreciated for who you were.

If any of the above happened to you, you might feel that you are fundamentally flawed or believe you are not loveable or enough.

All these wounds can leave you feeling disconnected from life and possibly experiencing anxiety, anguish, hurt, depression, frustration and more.  The more these feelings and traumas are suppressed, the more disconnected from spirit and life we feel.

How do you heal Emotional wounds?

Step one is to feel your emotions. All too often, we bottle things up. At some point, the emotion will get released, and this can be in undesirable ways, where you end up hurting yourself and others. We often turn to drugs, alcohol, binge eating, sex, or other addictions to numb our pain and emotions.  Try talking to family and friends about your feelings if you can or find a qualified therapist to help you.

Step two, healing is a process, not something that will happen in one therapy session. You need to feel the emotion and expel the suppressed energy.  Find somewhere where you can be alone then. If you are sad, let yourself cry if you are angry, shout and scream into a pillow, letting go of the suppressed energy.

Step three is to accept these feelings and emotions, really feel them as you let them go. Don’t keep any of the suppressed energy inside of you. Our feelings and emotions are from the past. We don’t want them to influence our future enjoyment. Whatever caused our emotional wounds happened, and by facing it, we can help to change our reaction to it, choose to stop letting it control you in the now.

Step four is to forgive all involved.  By really forgiving, you will feel freedom from the control these emotional wounds had over you. This can be done by meditation, prayer, writing a letter and burning or tearing it up.

Step five, use Louise Hays’ mirror work to learn from your pain and wounds.  What can you discover? Can any of this make me stronger? Keep searching for the lessons it could be showing you perseverance, forgiveness, patience, anything else you can learn from your pain and wounds.

Step six, if you run a constant story of blame in your thoughts. If your self-talk is saying expressions like……… it was my parent’s fault; it was because of such and such teacher etc. Try to find a positive statement, like, I am a self-determined person, and I allow others the same right. I can trust myself completely as my life unfolds to create my own unique story. I am highly creative, intelligent, attractive, energetic, witty, smart, healthy, wealthy, and wise.

Learn how to reconnect to the earth and improve your health

Grounding, which is sometimes called “earthing”, involves doing activities that reconnect you to the earth’s current and helps you to become grounded.

By being electrically grounded you will feel:

  • Centred
  • Solid
  • Strong
  • Balanced
  • Less tense
  • Less stressed.

People live with constant, stress, pain, anxiety, depression and fatigue, there is also an increase of people suffering from autoimmune diseases in our modern world. Research has started to look at how disconnected from the earth we are and how this may affect our health.

We are bioelectrical beings living on an electrical planet. Our body operates electrically, our cells transmit frequencies to run our heart, muscles, nervous and immune systems.

When we live in the cities, we no longer walk barefoot outside or wear natural leather shoes that allow you to absorb the grounds energy. We wear rubber and plastic soled shoes which insulate us from the earth’s energy. By being disconnected and ungrounded we are no longer in touch with the earth’s energy.  There has been some research done which is showing how grounding/earthing can help, decrease pain and inflammation, reduce stress levels, and improve circulation.

Here is a youtube link which explains some of the research and goes into much more detail.

As healers we are encouraged to connect with the ground barefoot before we start any sessions with our clients. The best way to connect to the earth is to walk barefoot on grass, sand, concrete, or earth. We do grounding exercises to help us connect to earth.

Six simple ways to increase your self-motivation

Self Motivation

What does self-motivation mean, the dictionary says, “able and willing to work without being told what to do”. Therefore, self-motivation is an important skill to have. It drives you to keep going even when you are faced with setbacks in achieving your goals.

Here are some ways to help keep you motivated.

Start your day with gratitude and appreciation.

Be thankful for how you feel, and when you are asked, “how are you today?” give a positive answer, “I am fantastic, excellent or great” G.R.E.A.T. stands for Getting Really Excited About Today. You may be thinking about what I have to be excited about. Start living each day as the greatest day of your life, be excited for another day to help your friends and family, be a positive influence. Self-motivation should start the minute you wake up. Do something special for you; this could be your regular skincare routine, a shower with a special shower gel, be creative; if you struggle to do nice things for yourself, you are unlikely to be helpful or productive for others.

Reward yourself.

After being good to yourself, reward yourself; this can be any small treat or your breakfast. Preferably something that is repeated. It is easier to keep yourself motivated when you provide recognition to yourself.

Self-motivation has to come from you.

No one can give you self-motivation, you can be motivated by getting money or other outside influences, but that is not lasting; it can be taken away at any time. Live your life from the inside out, not the outside in and embrace enduring self-motivation.

Taking control of your life

There are things you cannot control, for example, the weather, traffic, what other people say or do. If you cannot control something, just let it be. There are things in life that are possible to control, like your thoughts, your ego, your reactions, and your attitude. These are all part of self-motivation. Changing your perspective on life will boost your self-motivation.

Know yourself.

Answer these questions, be honest for the most beneficial results to improve your self-motivation. You may wish to work with a trusted friend or therapist to dig deeper into your thoughts.

  • What are your values?
  • What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  • What motivates you?
  • What demotivates you?
  • What are your fears and perceived limitations?
  • How can you overcome them?
  • What are your negative habits?
  • What positive habits can replace them?

What you want from life.

Self-motivation is a necessary to achieve your goals and dreams, write your dreams and goals down.

Set out an action plan, break it down into small steps. Take action on your plan. Self-motivation is the actual doing. Thinking about it leads to procrastination. Give yourself permission to learn; this may mean failing once or twice before you get it right. This is normal; think about how a toddler learns to walk.

How to Love Yourself and Bring Happiness in Your Life

When we are born, we feel loveable, providing we receive love from our parents and environment during our informative years and beyond, we will grow up feeling loved and not judging ourselves. When this does not happen, often because our parents did not love themselves, we are more likely to struggle with self-judgement as adults.

We all have an inner critic, that inner voice that is constantly telling us we cannot do things, or we are not good enough, we are not loveable and many more. This is our ego speaking; our ego comes from fear. Our truth, the unconditioned self, comes from love and lets us know we are loveable. Love is much more than a feeling; it is our true nature, the consciousness, our essence, our soul, and our spiritual DNA.

If your inner critic is regularly berating you, you may wish to look into ways to learn how to love yourself. Louise Hay recommends using mirror work to help people to do this. She suggests you look in the mirror every morning and repeat the affirmation “Life loves me” ten times. Notice your responses; sensations may be tension in your body, feelings may be sadness or happiness, and thoughts maybe I cannot do this. Do not judge your responses; there are no right or wrong answers. Just be honest with yourself. Life loves you is about unconditional love.

Once you have completed the above, repeat with the affirmation, “I am willing to let life love me today”, repeat until you feel comfortable sensations in your body. Be willing to work with these affirmations, and all things are possible.

Doing mirror work can be confronting at first, revealing your fears and self-judgements, be kind to yourself. By continuing to do the mirror work, you will start to move through your fears and self-judgements.  If you have had serious trauma in your life, I recommend doing this with a therapist or trusted friend. Remember, life mirrors how you feel. Your relationship with yourself influences your relationship with everyone and everything.

Therefore, once we can love ourselves, and are able receive love, our life will become so much happier.

I am Often Asked how to Keep our Lives Calm!

Here are some brilliant ways to keep calmness in your life.

We need to change our perception and our thoughts to a way of calmness and love. Using Louise Hay’s affirmation “Life Loves You” while standing in front of a mirror and repeating this ten times, acknowledging the thoughts and feelings that come up. Make sure you let go of all the negative thoughts coming from your ego or inner critic. Be kind and loving to yourself.

Many of the actions below have been taken from “The Little Book of Calm”, by Paul Wilson

  1. Select your company well. As harsh as it may sound, mixing with highly stressed people will make you feel stressed. On the other hand, mixing with calm people will leave you feeling calm even for the briefest period.
  2. Invest in a fruit bowl. The more beautiful your bowl, the better stocked it is, the less likely you are to turn to stress-enhancing snack foods. Eat more fruit, and you will feel more relaxed – it’s as sweet as that.
  3. Worry when the time comes. Most worries are future-based. They revolve around things that, in most cases, will never happen. Concentrate on the present, and the future will take care of itself.
  4. Pamper your feet. Soak your feet, then massage them with moisturiser or a relaxing combination of essential oils. You will feel blissfully relaxed in no time. You can read my post about massaging your feet here.
  5. Wet face towel. As any beauty therapist or barber will tell you, nothing soaks away facial stress and tension quite so efficiently as a damp hot towel. You can read about my natural face treatment here.
  6. Reaffirm your friendships. If you tend to get overly serious with your work or responsibilities, remind yourself that the most common deathbed regrets relate to neglected relationships, not unfinished business.
  7. Think before you buy. To avoid the stresses of debt, think about what you can afford to spend long before thinking about what you would like to buy.
  8. Sleep on a patchouli pillow. Add three drops of patchouli or chamomile oil to your pillow every few nights for a blissfully calm sleep.

How the Foods We Eat Can Help Improve Our Anxiety

Doctors and dieticians are beginning to appreciate more about how the nutritional properties of the foods we eat affect the brain. There is a clear and important connection between the brain and the gut; some researchers are now referring to the gut as the second brain. They now know when essential nutrients are deficient, there is a direct effect on the production of neurotransmitters and brain chemistry that can increase anxiety-related behaviours.

Here are some foods to start eating to help with your anxiety and stress today: –

1. Asparagus

Studies going back to the 1960s indicate that many people who suffer from anxiety and depression have shown a folate deficiency. Asparagus is one vegetable that contains a valuable amount of this mood-boosting nutrient. One portion provides two-thirds of your daily recommended folate value.

Try adding asparagus spears to your meals, or even eat as a snack, dip the spears into salsa, hummus or other dips.

2. Avocado

Avocados are rich in B vitamins and healthy fat; all the B vitamins have positive effects on the nervous system. However, deficiencies in these stress-relieving vitamins have been linked to increased anxiety in people. Avocados also contain vitamin E, which is important for vision, reproduction, and maintaining healthy skin. It also widens the blood vessels. Helps with cognition and the formation of red blood cells. Vitamin E is fat-soluble; it is found in foods with high-fat content like nuts and avocados.

When you next want a chocolate dessert, try blending an avocado, some cacao or cocoa powder and sugar or stevia to taste, chill in the fridge, you will be surprised how good it tastes.

3. Blueberries

Our bodies crave vitamin C when stressed or anxious. Vitamin C is an antioxidant; this helps repair and protect our cells and provide anxiety relief. Blueberries are full of this vitamin and antioxidants.

When you are craving a sugary snack, reach for blueberries instead of sugary sweets and snacks. Sugar is not good for our brains; it causes the brain to work at a sub-optimal level, creating a larger risk of anxiety and depression symptoms. The vitamin C in blueberries will also give your immune system a boost.

4. Turkey

Turkey contains tryptophan, this is nutrient that helps you to sleep. Tryptophan is an amino acid that the body needs to produce the neurotransmitter serotonin, which helps regulate sleep and mood.  With this in mind it may help reduce anxious feelings.

Instead of having a takeaway of KFC, try cooking a turkey breast with vegetables as a more healthy option and help your anxiety at the same time.

5. Almonds

Magnesium found in almonds and other nuts may also be effective for helping anxiety-related symptoms. Insufficient magnesium also reduces the level of the neurotransmitter serotonin in the brain.  12 almonds contain approximately 19% of our daily recommended magnesium. Magnesium can also be found in seeds, legumes, and avocados.

Instead of snacking on biscuits high in trans fats, which will make your anxiety worse and increase the risk of depression, eat a handful of nuts and gain from healthy fats and fibre; these will improve your gut health. Add some dried fruit or dark chocolate chips if you need some sweetness.

6. Yoghurt

Yoghurt is a fermented food; these foods can help your anxiety too.  There is a link between eating fermented and probiotic foods and the reduction of social anxiety.  Greek and plain yoghurt are best; they contain live active cultures, which is the nutrient that will help your anxiety.  Other probiotic foods: pickles, sauerkraut, kombucha, and miso.

For breakfast swap the milk with yoghurt with your cereal or have plain yoghurt with fresh fruit.

7. Kale (or Arugula)

Research has found having a lower antioxidant level is linked to anxiety symptoms. Any dark leafy greens like kale are

high in beta carotene, antioxidants, and vitamin C.  These boost our antioxidant levels and help our brains function optimally.

Add kale to your salad; if you do not like the bitter taste, have it as a cooked vegetable, or add to an omelette, soup, or a smoothie to hide the bitter taste.

8. Salmon

Omega-3 fatty acids are particularly effective when it comes to foods that help with anxiety. Omega-3 fatty acids are found in foods like salmon, chia seeds, soybeans, and walnuts, as well as cold-pressed olive oil. The correct dietary fats are essential to our brain health. Replacing red meat with fish and other omega-3 foods will help support a healthy brain-gut microbiome.

Consider having salmon instead of steak to help keep your cortisol and adrenaline from spiking when you are feeling stressed.

Experiment with these foods to see if your anxiety improves.
