Snail Gel

Dr-Organic-Snail-GelSnail Gel the potent , soothing, anti-ageing skin cream

The healing and repairing properties of the slime, which is harvested without harming the snails, the mucus from the snails is collected as they crawl over special glass and plastic surfaces. The discovery was made  by chance when Chilean snail farmers noticed their hands  healed more quickly without any scars and were very soft and smooth to the touch. The natural extract Helix Aspersia Muller the unique substance the snail produces to quickly regenerate its own shell and skin, contains a balance of beneficial substances which include glycolic acid, collagen, elastin, allantonin, vitamins and minerals.

This is how all the substances work to produce great-looking, healthy skin:

Glycolic Acid

Snail Gel contains enough glycolic acid to produce a gentle elimination of superficial dead skin cells, and to help promote their replacement with new cells, formed using the stimulus of allantoin. It also enables cleansing of pilose follicles and favours the absorption of the other natural substances contained in the snail extract.

Allantoin

A proven stimulant for skin regeneration – also effective for healing, smoothing and anti-irritation – that works by increasing water content and strengthening cell structure.

Collagen and elastin

These are structural proteins that bond skin tissue, nurture skin and improve its appearance. Collagen gives connective tissue and organs rigidity so they can function, and elastin lets them stretch and return to their original state.

Proteins and vitamins

Contribute to the constant regeneration of skin while also acting as anti-inflammatory agents.

Dr Organic snail gel is mixed with Aloe Vera which is very cooling and helps to reduce redness in the skin and it also contains lemongrass which gives it a lovely  lemon smell.  The gel feels instantly cooling and refreshing on the skin and it is a freshness that lasts and the lemon scent is very awakening.

If you would like to try the gel before buying a pot for between £20 and £25, you can book a facial with me at a pamper event or a full luxury facial at home.

          Did you know….?

Have you ever looked down and noticed your cuticles were dry and cracked? If your hand lotion is simply not strong enough to keep those cuticles moist, step up the game a bit with lip balm. The thick texture of the lip balm will last longer than traditional lotion and really moisturise dry cuticles!

            Have you tried…..?

Ice water for perfect nails. Many people think the best option is to dry the nails after painting with a blow dryer on the heat setting. If                     this doesn’t work for you, next time, paint those nails  and then place your fingers in a bowl of ice water. The ice water will seal the polish             on the nail. The result – brighter, shinier nails.

        Thought of the month …….

…that every day is a New Beginning.

A new cycle begins this day, yet a new cycle begins every day. Indeed, every moment. So if you recognize anything on this day,                                 recognize what it symbolizes: The miracle of the endlessly continuing Cycle of Life.

What a grand day! What a time for celebration! We begin again today! We turn the page! And so, let go of all that you do not wish to                      carry with you any further.

Any fear, any sadness, any anger, any resentment, any disappointment, any lament…let it all go. And now, using the specialness of this                day as a springboard, let’s get on with Life!

         Neale Walsch

Did you know…?

Shiny lustrous locks aren’t  just for movie stars.  You can have them too if you want them.  Here are a few tips.

If you’ve got fine hair, look for a shampoo with wheat proteins and polymers. These ingredients coat the hair shaft making it look thicker (hence the lustrous look). You can also use spray volumisers. These will deposit a light mist of shine in the form of droplets but won’t make it all limp and lifeless.

If you’ve got normal hair, try a shampoo that has silk amino acids, as these soften and repair hair structure. Lecithin also restores hair texture. To add that shimmery shine of the A-listers you can use gels and creams. To apply the product without it going all gooey, apply it on your palm, rub your hands together and pat gently on to your hair.

And for thick or heavy hair, use pomades they will not only make your hair shiny but will also moisturise so your hair is more supple.

Have you ever tried…?

Microfiber for Exfoliation. Those microfiber cloths they sell for cleaning and dusting. The fibres are ideal for exfoliating the skin if you need to. All you need to do is apply your favourite facial wash to the skin and lather using circular motions with the microfiber cloth. Rinse the face and the cloth and hang to dry!

Thought of the Month….

……….that imagination is your greatest gift. Do not be afraid to use it.

Imagine yourself as being okay right now. Totally okay.

Imagine yourself as Whole, Complete, and Perfect. With nothing to change, nothing to “improve.”

Imagine your heart as being open again, your life as if it were starting over in the most important ways.

Can you imagine this?

Then you have just created Tomorrow.

Neale Walsch

Mustard will remove lingering smells from old bottles. When cleaning out a bottle or bowl that has been used to store a food item that has left a lingering odour, sometimes soap and water will simply not cut the smell. Yellow mustard can remove that lingering smell in just a few moments. Simply add a little mustard and warm water to the container and swish around for a few moments. Rinse well and the smell is gone.

Have you ever tried…?

Pumpkin seeds are exceptionally good for you. They’re like nature’s own health supplement and have a wide variety of nutrients in them. They’re full of zinc, iron, magnesium and calcium. Plus our favourite omega-3. What more could you want!? Have a handful of pumpkin seeds every day and enjoy some great health benefits.

Thought of the Month….

……that miracles do not, in fact, break the laws of nature.

C.S. Lewis said that and it is an enormous insight.

If we think that miracles are normal, we will expect them.

And expecting a miracle is the surest way to get one.

Exfoliating the underarms can increase the effectiveness of deodorant. The pores of the underarms can get clogged just as easily as the pores of the face. While many people exfoliate their facial skin once a week, they rarely exfoliate the skin of their underarms. Using the same exfoliating wash on the underarms can remove the clogs from the pores leaving the skin brighter and your deodorant more protective

Have you ever tried…?

Baby oil to make your own scented bath oil. Finding bath oil that smells like your favourite perfume can be difficult. Instead of settling for some other lightly scented oil that is outrageously priced, why not use baby oil to create your own bath oil? Simply add a few drops of your favourite scent to 1/4 cup of unscented baby oil. Add to warm bath water and voila, scented oil.

Thought of the Month….

...that the mere apprehension of a coming evil has put many into a situation of the utmost danger.

F.L. Lucan said that, and it is right. There is no faster way to bring about misfortune than to think it is coming.

Thought is a powerful force, and it is a creative tool that many people give little energy to — or abandon in the face of any real threat to safety or stability.

What are you worried about today? Why? Rather than worry about it, would it not be a better use of your mental time to visualize a positive outcome?

Use your mind in this way today and you will have tapped one of the most extraordinary tools for the creation of your tomorrows.

Sleep is made up of different stages. During a normal night we will cycle through the different stages several times.

– Stage one: the ten minute period of light sleep or dozing.
– Stage two: a deeper sleep that lasts for about 20 minutes and
– Stages three and four: types of deep sleep.

We need deep sleep! This is when our body and brain recover from the day. If you aren’t getting enough sleep you are not going to be able to function at a normal level. So make sure you get your 8 hours a night. Keep your room just for sleeping. If there are stimulants in there you will take longer to switch off. Make it comfortable, dark and cool. And of course, if you are having real trouble sleeping see your doctor.

Have you ever tried…?

Homemade Vitamin E cream for anti aging. Many of the anti aging products today are fabulous, but lots are also full of chemicals that are horrible for sensitive skin. Instead of trying a new product – hoping you will like the ingredients – make you own anti aging cream. In a bowl add 2 tsp plain yogurt, 1/2 tsp honey, 1/2 tsp lemon juice and the Vitamin E oil from 3 capsules. Mix and apply to the facial skin. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse away. Vitamin E is a fantastic antioxidant. As with anything new, make sure to do a test patch of your home made cream before applying fully.

Thought of the Month….

……that no one does anything they do not want to do.
You always have a reason–and usually, a pretty good one– for doing what you are doing and choosing what you are choosing. Be careful not to convince yourself that you are doing something against your will. Such a thing is impossible.
Therefore, be honest with yourself as to why you are choosing to do a particular thing. Then, do it gladly, knowing that you are always getting to do what you want. The statement “I have no choice” is a lie. You can choose. You simply do not prefer the alternatives available to you, for whatever reason. So you select the outcome that you most prefer. Isn’t that power?

Neale Walsch

Did you know…?

We all want a healthy body! And many of us spend our lives jumping from diet to diet forgetting the importance of muscle. For every extra pound of muscle we add to our bodies we lose an extra 50 calories a day whether we are active or not.  For a healthy body, make sure to build muscle as well as lose fat.

Have you ever tried…?

Blueberries to reduce inflammation. Blueberries contain antioxidants that can reduce inflammation in the body. Inflammation is now thought to be one of the main causes in certain diseases like diabetes and cancer. These antioxidants also fight off free radicals which can leave the skin looking and feeling younger as healthy cells begin to regain control over the free radical producing cells.  Considering it is fruit so it’s nice and healthy we think it’s worth a try!

Thought of the Month….

….. that when you see the light at the end of the tunnel, it is not beneficial to go out and build more tunnel.

It was John Quinton who observed that politicians do that.

Maybe you’ve caught yourself doing it, too.

Just when things look like they’re getting better, you start seeing more things that “aren’t right,” or “could go wrong.”

The Universe is essentially a friendly place.

So friendly, in fact, that it will give you exactly what you expect it to.

Isn’t that wonderful? Of course, it depends on what you expect…

Did you know…?

Everyone has long-term goals, whether you want to lose weight, buy a home, improve your career or even overcome an emotional trauma. The thing we forget is that we are human. We like instant gratification. By setting a long-term goal that has no rewards for us until we get there we set ourselves up for failure. Avoid this by yes, setting your long-term goal, but also by giving yourself a set of short term attainable goals too.

A baby doesn’t just roll out of the cot and start walking, they have to go through a process and each new stage gives them confidence and pride so that they yearn for more. So remember to reward yourself! If you go down a dress size; treat yourself to a manicure or haircut.  If you get respect or recognition at work; go out for an evening with friends to celebrate. It doesn’t matter what it is. If you feel you have progressed make sure you really know it!

Have you ever tried…?

Cherries to Fall Asleep Faster. Cherries contain melatonin which is used by the body to regulate sleep patterns. When cherries are eaten before bed, they can reduce the amount of time it takes to fall asleep. On the reverse side, the cherries also balance the circadian rhythm that tells the body when to fall asleep and wake-up. Once balanced, the body will be on a healthier sleep pattern and trouble sleeping will fade away.

Thought of the Month….

..that winning an argument is never the goal of a true spiritual master. Winning someone’s heart is.

The setting aside of one’s integrity is not required to win someone’s heart, but the setting aside of one’s anger may be. It is possible to make a point without making an enemy. It is possible to be right without being righteous. Debating does not have to be debasing.

If there is someone with whom you are disagreeing this day, would it not be wonderful of you to disagree without being disagreeable?
