The purpose of this healing technique is to quickly and simply clear obstructions and blockages from the spine. These blockages in the spine are mostly emotional energy that has become hardened or calcified in the spine. This also causes the chakras to become somewhat disconnected from each other, after which they can easily go out of balance. For instance a hardening or stiffening in the lumber spine would constrict the flow of energy between the Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras.
So energetically cleansing the spine helps energy to flow freely, which in turn helps to clean the nervous system and the cerebral fluid. We are then able to conduct more energy through our system and become stronger.

Energetically cleansing a major organ also helps our energy to flow through our bodies more effectively.
